I wanted to share a wonderful hair pack that stops hair fall very quickly. This magical hair pack is very unique as it doubles up as a hair wash pack too.
we grind fresh hibiscus flowers and hibiscus leaves together and use it as a hair wash paste .This paste cleans the scalp well and is a very effective alternative for commercial baby shampoos.
I just added a few ingredients to the paste and converted it into a hair wash pack. . If you lead a very busy life and find it very difficult to make a homemade herbal shampoo and a hair pack separately, you'll love this magical recipe as it doubles up both as a hair pack and a shampoo.I love this kind of remedies which are backed by research as it gives everyone the confidence to try them, this is one such recipe.With some slight modification, this recipe can be made to suit everyone.The base ingredients for this recipe are hibiscus flowers and hibiscus leaves.
How This Work
Hibiscus cleans the scalp very well and helps to promote fast hair growth. Many of us think only hibiscus flowers are effective for hair growth but the leaves are also very very important and useful in promoting hair growth and actually I found a study which proved that it was more effective than the flowers in promoting hair growth and i'll leave the link to the study in the description box.If you don't have access to fresh hibiscus leaves and flowers,you can also use the powders too.
This hair pack is very very gentle on the scalp and it also treats dandruff and scalp inflammation very well. You can also make this hair pack in bulk when you get fresh flowers and leaves, freeze and use it later too.
FOR PREPARATION YOU WILL
- 1-Soap nuts 5 to 6
- 2-Fenugreek 1tbsp
- 3-Shikkai pods 4 to 5
- 4-Hibiscus flowers 4 to 5
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice 8 to 9

HOW OFTEN

METHOD
- Take five to six soap nuts also called as reetha in a mortar and pestle and pound to break them.
- Now remove the seeds and take the shells alone onto a pot.
- Add in a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds too.
- Add in four to five shikakai pods.
- Finally add water till all the ingredients are fully immersed in it.
- Let this mixture soak overnight.
- The next day, all the ingredients would have soaked well and will be soft to the touch.
- Now add in 4-5 fresh hibiscus flowers to it.Add in 8 to 10 hibiscus leaves too, now grind this to a very fine paste in the mixer.
- The mixture should be smooth like this else it'll be difficult to wash it off your hair and it also will not cleanse the scalp well too.
- To make sure that the mixture is smooth first take your time to grind the mixture well.
- Next strain using a soup strainer to get a smooth mixture.
- The holes in a soup strainer will be slightly larger than a regular strainer and is perfect for straining this hair pack.
- Pour the mixture onto the strainer and press with the spoon again and again and the smooth mixture will strain out very easily.
To Use
- Take this mixture and apply it all over the scalp and hair.
- Let the mixture soak for about minimum 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, sprinkle some water and gently massage the scalp and hair and then wash it off.
- This hair wash pack is very very easy to use.
- If you're prone to sinus infection, skip the fenugreek seeds in the pack and also start with just five minutes of soaking time and increase the time slowly, once your body gets used to it.
- After using this pack, wash it off, let the hair dry naturally and apply a leave-in conditioner.
- I would suggest using my homemade leave-in conditioner.
- It'll leave the hair soft and silky, using natural hair wash powders and paste like this take some getting used to as they don't foam much but trust me they clean the scalp well.
- Once you get used to them, you'll never stop using them.
- If you're suffering from hair fall, try using this pack weekly twice or thrice. It'll arrest hair fall very quickly and will start promoting new hair growth
