I wanted to share a 3 day full body skin repair treatment that not only repairs our skin but is very relaxing as well. This is a very very unique treatment that helps repair and hydrate the skin very very quickly.
The base for this treatment is homemade soya milk. I had noted down this recipe from somewhere in my book few months back as it looked very promising but kept putting it off for some reason or the other.
Finally I made it last week with homemade soya milk and I was very very pleased with the result. My skin was looking dull and lifeless as I was out in the sun in the farm a lot. I tried this treatment for 3 days in a row and it made a huge difference to my skin complexion. Soy beans are rich in protein, B vitamins and minerals and they slow down the aging of our skin and also they heal damaged skin very very fast.
HOW THIS WORKS
Homemade soy milk is so easy to make and trust me, it makes the skin unbelievably smooth, soft and radiant with just single use and it is also very cost effective.
The next ingredient we need is oat flour. I make my own oat flour at home by grinding oats in a dry mixer. I only get quick cooking oats in the local town near my village so I use only that but if you have access to rolled oats, you can use that too. Oats is very gentle on the skin and is perfect for even the most sensitive skin and I would highly recommend using it for this recipe.
The next Ingredient we need is raw honey. Honey is very healing and it helps hydrate the skin well. Try your best to use unprocessed raw honey for best results.
The final ingredient we need is nutmeg. Nutmeg not only makes the scrub smell amazing but it also helps fade scars and blemishes. If you are suffering from back acne and body scars, adding nutmeg to this recipe will greatly help reduce it.

Soya Bean 1/4 Cup
Oat Flour 2 Tbsp
Raw Honey 1 Tsp

METHOD
- The previous night, take around quarter cup of soy beans in a pot.
- Now add water till the soybeans are fully covered, let it soak overnight.
- The next day, drain the water, rinse once more and grind the soaked seeds along with some more water into a paste.
- Now take the paste in a thin muslin cloth and squeeze to get fresh soy milk. Make sure to use a cloth to strain as it helps extract the soy milk completely from the beans.
- Take two tablespoons of the ground oat flour in a bowl.
- Now add in a teaspoon of raw unprocessed honey to it.
- Now take a nutmeg and grate it over the bowl till you get around quarter teaspoon of nutmeg powder.
- You can use store-bought nutmeg powder too but grating it fresh like this makes it smell even more amazing.
- Finally add in enough of the extracted soya milk.
- Now mix well with a whisk or a spoon till you get a smooth paste.
TO USE
- Take the paste and apply it all over the face and body, massage for as long as you can and then wash it off.
- This paste is neither drying nor does it make the skin oily so it is ideal for all skin types.
- Try your best to do this treatment three days in a row and you'll notice a huge positive difference in your skin tone.
- Soy milk got from quarter cup of the soaked beans will be enough for using it for three days.
- Store the leftover soy milk in the fridge and mix this paste fresh every single day.
- Whenever you feel your skin is looking dull and lifeless, try this treatment for three days in a row. You will get instant results without fail.
